Company History
DUOS was founded in 1999 as a wholesaler of premium sunglasses and prescription eyewear. In 2014, the owners identified a gap in the market: opticians in Slovakia and the Czech Republic were not offering luxury eyewear priced above €500. Strong customer interest in a pilot store confirmed the demand for a luxury eyewear collection.
In 2017, DUOS opened a store in Bratislava’s Eurovea shopping centre, followed by another in Prague. In 2024, the company expanded with a new location in Bratislava that also houses an eye clinic.
Product Portfolio
Our eyewear range is divided into two collections: luxury and fashion.
The luxury collection is central to our identity and sets us apart from the competition. It features exclusive designs, many of which are handcrafted and enhanced with precious materials. Brands in this collection include Maybach, Dita, Thom Browne, Cartier, Cazal, Chopard and Chrome Hearts.
Our fashion collection offers a wide range of generally more affordable designs. It includes Ray-Ban, Jimmy Choo, Givenchy, Tommy Hilfiger, Moschino, Max Mara, Hugo Boss, Carrera, Marc Jacobs, MYKITA, Dior, Dior Homme, Fendi, Gucci, Polaroid, Elie Saab, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Oakley, Versace, Anna-Karin Karlsson, Miu Miu, Bvlgari, Balenciaga, Montblanc and Saint Laurent.
